Educational partners teach the
Foundations of Faith Community Nursing Curriculum to registered nurses in their communities. Educational partners are agencies such as colleges, universities, health care systems, or community health agencies who connect with the IPNRC through a contract and purchase the curriculum. Each partner identifies a faith community nurse, who has completed a foundations course in faith community nursing and has an advanced degree, to serve as faculty coordinator for their program. These faculty coordinators attend the Faith Community Nursing Curriculum and are commissioned through the IPNRC to teach the
Foundations of Faith Community Nursing Curriculum and
Equipping the Saints: Continuing Education for Faith Community Nurses and Congregations. In 2011 there were 140 educational partners teaching parish nursing in their communities and on-line. At the completion of the local course, the names of participants are added to the IPNRC database in an attempt to track the number of faith community nurses in the United States and abroad.
